Summary: Cloud Adoption Journey Blog Series
Over the past few months, I have been writing about my experiences working with large enterprise customers at the Boston, MA Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) as part of their Cloud Adoption Journey.
During this time, I have also been reviewing this content with my Microsoft customers, partners, and peers across the world. As part of that work, I have created this high level overview image which reflects the following 3 common phases:
- Envision: Building the Microsoft 365 Cloud Vision and Business Case
- Onboard: Migrating to Office 365
- Realize Value: Realizing Digital Transformation by Reinventing Business Processes
The MTCs (along with our partners) in the United States run many public workshops to enable our customers and partners to learn more and get hands on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and other technologies.
As an MTC architect, my colleagues and I spend most of our days working directly with our largest enterprise customers and their partners on a variety of offerings that include Strategy Briefings, Architecture Design Sessions, Proof of Concepts, Hackathons, and Workshops tailored to meet their specific needs.
While every customer path, journey, and MTC engagement is different, here are some common steps that we have been working together with our customers on at the Boston MTC to help them envision and execute on their Cloud Adoption Journey.
Hopefully this blog series has been helpful for you and your organization. My future blog posts will focus on more specific use cases and examples from projects that we are working with our customers and partners on at the Boston MTC as part of their Cloud Adoption Journey.
